I understand learning to drive is a big decision to make and deciding on your driving instructor can be difficult. You are placing your trust and your money with a stranger who you will be spending a considerable amount of time with. If you want to get in touch to chat first, you’re more than welcome.
My name is Ruth and I am a Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) who has been fully CRB checked. I am a member of the Driving Instructors Association (DIA) and also a member of the local Darlington Driving Instructors Federation (DDIF). I live locally with my husband and son. I am a qualified nurse as well as a driving instructor and spent many years working in Intensive Care.
I have a good sense of humour and want my pupils to be relaxed and enjoy their driving lessons. I find that pupils make quicker progress when they have a good rapport with their instructor, when they are enjoying learning to drive and when they look forward to their next lesson.
What I can promise my pupils is honesty and reliability. We will work at a pace that suits the individual and obtain test standard in as few lessons as possible. I will give my assurance that I will do my utmost to produce a confident, safe and considerate driver.
Please take the time to read my testimonials page. Most of my previous pupils who have contributed, will be happy for you to contact them before you make your decision.
Once you have had a good look at my site, if there are any other questions you have, or you would like to discuss your requirements or to book lessons then please contact me by phone. I will get back to you as soon as I can.
All the very best with your new venture, it would of course be lovely to hear from you. For those on Facebook I have a facebook page. Follow me.
